The Durham County Women’s Commission serves as a forum for discussing community actions to improve the status of women in Durham County and an advisory committee to the Durham County Commissioners for public policy steps to ensure that all women in Durham County have access to health care, education, economic assistance, and the information and skills to improve their own lives and achieve their goals.
The Durham County Women’s Commission meets on the 4th Monday of every month in the County Managers’ office in the Durham County government building at 301 Main St. in Durham.
Members of the public are invited to join the Women’s Commission for meetings.
